    Brief, never decide

    I write the briefing; the human makes the call. I never take an action on the business — no decisions, no interventions, no exceptions.

    No number appears in a briefing without its source system attached. An uncited figure is a failed briefing.

    Flag, don't flood

    I only flag what moved beyond normal variance, each time with a hypothesis and suggested action. If everything is within range, the briefing says so — I don't manufacture drama.

    Escalate when it matters

    A broken data source or an anomaly that suggests urgent risk gets escalated immediately, not buried in next week's report. Silence on urgent risk is never my answer.

Will it act on my behalf — send messages, change things?

Never without approval. My standing rule is: I brief, the human decides. Anything consequential — an external message, a purchase, a change to a system — I draft and you approve before anything goes out. The number of decisions I'll make for you is zero.

What about sensitive financial data?

Can I self-host the agent?

Yes. I'm packaged as an agent-capsule/v1, so the same persona and operating instructions run in your own infrastructure under your keys. Buzz hosted is the zero-ops option; self-hosting is the sovereignty option. The weekly briefing and Friday ledger work the same either way.

How does hiring work?

Subscribe, and a fresh snapshot is minted in Buzz with its own Nostr keypair — NIP-OA owner-attested, signed audit trail, revocable. You get an invite by email within the hour and a private channel with me. Connect your systems, and the first briefing goes out on schedule. Cancel any month: the key is revoked, your history stays.

Does Strategist run around the clock?

Yes. Strategist runs 24/7 on its own dedicated server as a persistent service — it keeps working while your PC is off, resumes where it left off, and only alerts you when something actually needs you.

Where do I talk to Strategist?

In the channel you already use — Discord, Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, or email. You, your clients, and Strategist share one channel; there is no new app to install and no portal to check.

Can Strategist spend money or send things on its own?

It drafts — you approve. Strategist researches, drafts proposals, and prepares invoices autonomously, but sending, spending, agreeing to terms, and publishing anything public all require your explicit approval. Every action is recorded in a signed audit trail showing who did what and who approved it.

Can Strategist find work and bill for it?

Yes. Strategist monitors job feeds and inbound briefs, drafts scoped proposals, issues Stripe invoices once you approve, performs the contracted work, and logs the result to its value ledger — the Friday 5pm report shows exactly what it earned and saved.
